Just wondering how everyone does breakfast. Latly people have been playing till 4 to 6am so alot of people havnt been up at the normal breakfast times. Anyone have any experince dealing with this? We've pushed it back to about 10-12 but were toying around with making stuff that can sit all morning to deal with anyone thats up at 9am or 12

Well.. For me I had to go with set meal times or I'd never have time to clean, organize, do the books, etc.
Friday night I did light meals from call it 10pm-2am, Saturday: breakfast was around 10am to 12, a mid day meal from 4-6, and dinner around 9pm.
However, those where when I planned on cooking large quantities of stuff. I was normally "open" and doing light stuff from 9am-2am on Saturday, taking an hour here or there for breaks/naps.

I do what you do - put out stuff that can sit there without any worry of it getting cold. Continental is the best way to go. That way, people can just wander in when they wake up and get something to eat.

I make breakfast burritos lots of times. You can make them up, wrap them in foil, and they can sit in the oven on warm and stay good for a few hours. Or biscuits and gravy. My crockpot is my friend.

A quick continental breakfast is the easiest. Just ast a few pastries and some convience products out. If they come in then they have something small. Lunch is usually the first bugger meal.

Sigh~ I wish I'd gone continental after the first VALOR Chef left. I felt obligated to keep up her level of service for folks, so I was doing the whole breakfast route.
Eggs - to order French Toast (a short supply of pancakes since French Toast > Pancakes) Bacon Toast Omlets - to order
I spent WAY too much time in the kitchen.

ETN shuts down it's Monstertown at 3am with a few roleplay encounters and modules lasting longer. So we offer a free continental breakfast of fruits and pastries for the people who get up around or before 10am when we reopen encounters for the players. We also offer Bacon, Eggs and Toast/Biscuit breakfasts until noon usually for those that want to pay for something more.
