Anyone ever cooked these at an event? I'm considering them for our December event.

Its not that bad to deep fry them actually, so long as you pay attention to the instructions.
Sadly, we did not. One year VALOR was going to do a HUGE turkey feast, Deep fry I forget how many turkeys.. 10? 14? something like that.
Someone.. NOT me. Did the math wrong, and we started about 3 hrs late in cooking our birds. For the size birds we had i was 20? or 30 min a bird, not the 10 min the Fry cook said it was.
Dinner was WAY late, kitchen crew Nearly didnt get fed at all.. Was an UGLY evening for being in the kitchen.
I swore off EVER doing feasts again after that night.

My big problem with it is physics. I'm short. Really short. 4'9" short. Then there is the nerve damage in my right shoulder. I have enough problems lifting a turkey, let alone doing it with hot oil involved. Game hens look much less intimidating. lol
It's been over a year since I did a feast, and crazy me is contemplating it once again. Sleep depravation must be close to claiming me again.
