Smart and Final, this one may just be here on the west coast. Costco is also good as well as Sams Club. If you have a connection you can get things from restaruant suppliers. Our chapter is just not big enough for that.

I get some of my basics at Aldi which is a discount store. Then I can add things to them to add my own flavor. Lower bottom line without sacrificing flavor. Sam's Club is awesome too!!!!

Costco/Sams Club/BJ's can all be good for Bulk items. You have to watch the prices there though. Sometimes thier Bulk is more expensive than just buying it seperately at the local Food Lion. The Sales Ads are your friend in the sunday paper Also a lot of the chain grocery stores have websites, so you can check online without having to buy a paper.

I can also recommend Aldi as a good place to pick up your bulk items. Their prices usually beat Sams/Costco hands down. If you have access to a local farmers market, you will often find some excellent deals on fresh meats and vegetables as well as finding fresh herbs and spices if you wish to go that extra mile. Lastly, as odd as it might sound, for sodas, Quick Trip. Yes, that convenience store. They usually have some special running on sodas at least once a month, so just keep an eye out there when you stop for gas or whatever and stock up while the sale is going.
