My name is Julie Jones, the creator of these forums. I have been doing tavernkeeping for various NERO chapters for well over 10 years now. I have run the Tavern for NERO Chicago, NERO Midwest, and now my husband's chapter, NERO Chronicles. In real life I am a mother of a five year old little girl, a wife to Derek, and a nurse.
I created these forums because lets face it, running a NERO tavern can be tough. It helps to have backup and help and to have people to bounce ideas off of.
I'm always searching for new ideas and recipes, and who better to ask than other NERO Tavernkeeps?
Thank you for visiting, and have fun here!

Post by Basil The Hobbling Chef on Nov 5, 2007 11:11:53 GMT -5
Greetings Julie,
My name is Jason. I was a chef for 15 years. I have worked in nreo tavers from Atlanta, and Nero West. I was an owner here in las Vegas and Basil was the tavern owner and a chaf IG. I have worked in many high volume restaruants over the years and it was an easy crossover. I joined the military and went to Iraq as a scout, giving up the kitchen. I have recently returned to playing Nero here in Las Vegas.
I remember our opening weekend. I served spagetti on the friday night as people arrived into the game. Saturday I served Half rosted chickens with mediteranian potatoes. I even had a few vegans and had grilled portebello mushrooms served with squash and zuchinni.
In the begining we served soda and gave them new creative names then went to tea and sports drinks and lemonade.
I have had quite the career in the nero taverns Ig and OOG. Some fun and plot driven and some full of frustration.
I still love to play Basil but I am a player for the time. Maby next season I will break out the hobbling again. I need to let out the inner cook/alchemist. I think the two just go together.
I love the idea of this board and will share it with the current tavern operators.
Jason aka Basil
